A new program providing free P2 technical assistance and guidance to businesses with the goal of improving human and environmental health in disadvantaged communities.
This program is made available through an EPA cooperative agreement with researchers at Clemson University to help prevent plastic waste and toxic chemicals from entering the environment.
Participants in this program will view a series of webinars and engage in related activities designed to help them examine their business’ internal operations and leverage the free technical assistance provided by the Clemson Research Team. Participants will also learn how to use resources provided by the EPA in an effort to implement more sustainable practices into their business.
By The End of This Program, Participants Will:
Recieve a free sustainability audit and technical assistance from the Clemson Research Team.
Determine the sustainable packaging, products, and waste disposal methods most aligned with business operations and goals.
Understand the business benefits associated with switching to eco-friendly packaging, products, and waste disposal methods.
Generate and enact a plan to replace current products, packaging, and waste disposal methods with more sustainable alternatives.
